ShellBlast now available on GamersGate; it’s crunch time!

Yet another quick update and some news. First off, I’m proud to announce our new partnership with GamersGate.com, a site that’s gaining popularity with such exclusives as Bionic Commando: Rearmed. Our first commercial game (ShellBlast) is now available at the site, with Spirits of Metropolis to follow soon.

You also may have noticed that the site runs a bit faster; it’s now running on clustered servers, providing faster loads and minimal downtime. Woo!

And one last thing…I’m going to go into crunch time right now with Spirits of Metropolis, so there might not be quite as many blog posts in general until the game is released. I have nearly completed the levels of Spirits; once that’s done its on to the editor and menus, and bam. Done. Once the game is closer to release I’ll reveal the final new modes and a bit of a neat surprise that I hope helps in Spirit’s success.

The goal is to get a private beta of the full game out by September 29th. Alright, it’s crunch time. Let’s do it!

    Same.

  3. *Notices Chubs said he’d post screenshots of the new editor…and he didn’t*

Well, that’s irrelevant. And 29th September, nice date. 4 years since the opening of the Vertigo Gaming Forums, right?

  4. chubigans says:

    Oh, uh, yeah! 🙂

The editor pics don’t exist because the editor itself doesnt exist yet. 🙁 That’s the last thing I’ll do for the game.
Just finished journey mode today though. Final count: 59 levels, with 53 levels of puzzles.

What? There are levels without puzzles? What are they, platformers?

  6. Ok, it obviously isn’t the VGF anniversary then. 😛
