NEW GAME ANNOUNCEMENT: greenTech Plus, the commercial sequel to the original!

I’m proud to announce greenTech+ is now available to purchase for just $3.95!

greenTech+ has been redesigned to be a more action-oriented game, putting players in charge of a hurricane that can steer polluted winds into cleansing factories. But be careful, because if that cloud hits a high pressure zone, it gets dispersed into the atmosphere, causing global warming to go up. Once global warming reaches 100%, it’s game over. (You can check out the original game/trailer right here.)

The new controls in this game puts the hurricane on a grid instead of mouse control, giving me better control of how I could design the levels. Now that I knew exactly where the player can and can’t go, I can pack levels to the breaking point with a ton of obstacles and factories, even more than the original.

Not only that, but I’ve packed in thirty levels with fifty unlockable monitors! If you thought greenTech was hard, well, greenTech+ isn’t quite as hard in the beginning and then ramps up a bit before being really hard. But it’s a much more natural progression than the original was.

Now I know what you’re thinking: man, if only this game utilized some form of 3D! Well I have news for you: (A) that’s a really weird thing to think about, and (B) greenTech+ has built in 3D support! Now, if there’s one thing I don’t like about red/blue glasses, it’s that the color is all washed out from the image. Well, given that greenTech had no color to begin with, this 3D works better than I think any other game out there with anaglyph support. But don’t take my word for it. Throw on your red/blue 3D glasses and view the future!

You can purchase the game at the Vertigo Games store. Enjoy!

  6. SquareWheel says:

I believe that means that the game is a 5 dollar value, the total price isn’t 5 dollars.

Just curious, is this also bundled with the Sandbox of God? I’ve been looking for a reason to pick that game up (huge fan of the original), and a big bundle would certainly qualify.

  7. hamelin says:

I am buying on first day. I just love your quirky games.

  8. Gingi says:

This is probably the coolest thing you’ve done since I’ve found Vertigo Games. That was about four years ago.

I don’t think this is bundled with SOG. Although a few months ago when there was that buy Spirits / Shellblast, get SOG free special I asked Mr. Chubigans if I could buy SOG by itself (at the time you couldn’t). Mr. Chubigans said that SOG will be available for individual sale after the special, but that I could wait till The Oil Blue came out and get SOG free with it. But that special ended in April…

  9. JKR says:

Didn’t see that one coming! Bravo. Looking forward to trying out the new style of control.

  10. Pickle says:

gt:F is already being worked on, I’ve been putting it off, but now that school is over, I will be SURE to finish it. Very soon. 🙂

  11. chubigans says:

It’s not bundled with SOG, I’m sorry guys. I thought Oil Blue was going to be done by April…

But tell you what. I’ll bundle SOG with Liquisity 2. 😀

And sounds good Pickle, just email me when youre ready!
