Kablooey! Carrots, Contest Results & More
Sometimes I need something to drive me to finish my games…you know, when wealth, power, fame, money, and fortune aren’t quite rousing’ me to push forward.
That’s why I buy awesome games and leave them in the shrinkwrap until I reach a milestone. Had it not been for Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, I don’t think I would have graduated college. And now, I have another game ready to show me the awesome…but…I must restrain myself…
Batman looks awesome, and I can’t wait to dig in. The demo was awesome, the Animated Series of Batman was amazing, I’m a fairly big Batman fan in general and…sigh…I can’t play it. Not until I get Kablooey! in beta this week. And yet there it is, taunting me. I will play you soon enough. Oh how I will play you so much.

Speaking of fame and fortune, I’ve revealed the sales stats of Spirits of Metropolis, which are the total opposite of what I started this sentence with. But it was a good experience and there’s still quite a road ahead of the game, so I remain enthused about it. Check it out, and thanks to Game Producer for the opportunity to share my experiences!

Interesting idea with that video game carrot. Should use that to eventually finish Pivot :p. (well, my part of it at least)
On an unrelated note, it is (or close to) cybermouse8’s birthday. Lucky bastard gets a birthday present from chubs.
Also, that is a great method to force yourself to finish your work.
