Liquisity 2 (indiePub Competition Entry) now available!

I’m happy to announce that a competition version of Liquisity 2 is now available to download!

About two weeks ago I had a public beta of the game, which ended up being a great idea since so many people disliked the game. So, I completely trashed the diamond/ring collecting version of Liquisity 2 and remade it into the game you can play today, which has that ol’ fashioned Liquisity feel. Fire balls out of a water cannon through eighteen levels as you steer your ball into the goal, while dodging spikes and using water jets to your advantage. This version of the game has four types of balls and a unique gameplay feature for the last three levels that I think you’re gonna enjoy.

Anyways, you can watch a gameplay trailer and download the game right here. And please, vote for Liquisity 2 to win the Audience Favorite here. Thanks again for all the support, and I’d love any feedback you might have on the game.

The full version of Liquisity 2 will be available later this year.

    Yay first!

    What i liked:

The last few levels and their mechanic is very good, loved it.
The music was awesome, great feeling

    What i disliked:
The ball control seems very limited, gets out of control easily
When you introduce the new balls, they only have one level devoted to them and thus basically “skimmed over”
The game has lost that deep, calming feeling, but perhaps i’m the only one missing that aspect of the game

The new balls were actually added in two days before the deadline. There will be a ton more levels with the balls in the final game. 😀

And I know what you mean with the calming feeling…we’re going to do more “relaxing” type music for the final version, but for now we had to use the music that we had available.

So, do keep in mind I made this game in about 26 days. 🙂

Yes, its excellent for 26 days work. Doubt i could make that in 26 weeks!

A couple things i forgot to mention: sometimes its hard to see the blocks, mainly on levels with brightish backgrounds

And what is with the light show? Is it cus i die a lot? What is its purpose? Does it do anything at all?

My main qualm was just how easy it was to lose control of the ball, try playing 13 (?) or the one with all the bumpers or the one with all the bubblers and you’ll see what i mean. Cannon also feels underpowered or maybe there is loads of friction on the ball (screw realism 😀 )

Just want this game to be awesome. I probably won’t buy it though, not because it won’t be awesome, but because i am a cheap ass with no money:P

    Keep on rollin’
