Oh, and a big thanks to Rob Sanders for the radio announcer voice. Thanks again man!

  2. Dale_Fan3 says:

I’ve got it! You control the Liquisity spinner using the mouse. It attracts Global Warming, and you have to keep it out of the crossed out areas!

  3. chubigans says:

    😀

  4. UltimateAgent says:

That ‘WORLD DESTROYED’ banner was pretty funny. Should be an interesting game.

What are you working on after greenTECH?

  5. Dale_Fan3 says:

I would like to add to my explanation. You can put the Global Warming into the bulls eyes to get rid of them. Yay for bulls eyes!

  6. Garion says:

    Reminds me of Wall-E

  7. angus says:

This is gonna be Teh Awesomest!

  8. joe_042293 says:

How did you achieve that warped screen effect, Chubs?

  9. chubigans says:

Ultimate: After this game I plan to prep the first patch to Spirits of Metropolis as well as promoting the heck out of that game. In Feb. I plan to start up my next game, which will be the next major commercial game that has yet to be announced. 🙂

joe: I used a neat warp-explosion technique found at 64 digits. I simply froze it and tweaked it until I got the bubble-like screen that I wanted.

  10. Ravenheart says:

    So when’s Liquisity2 coming?

  11. chubigans says:

Dunno. Sometime this decade is a sure bet.

Just wrapped the game…sixteen levels in greenTech. Just gotta do the menus and unlocks and the game is done!

  12. I go away to the coast for a New Years party and this breaks loose. It looks fun, I still cant decide whether or not the art style will be an eye-sore or not, but the game play looks like great fun. Also, is that the music? If so, that’s epic because I love classical. ^^

How long did this take you to make from start to finish?

  13. I Am Moody says:

the look of it kinda reminds me of fallout 3, but other than that it looks pretty cool

  14. Hah, yeah. The radio reminded me of that too. 🙂

  15. I Am Moody says:

Yeah the radio especially. I think it’s a nice effect.

  16. Them says:

Yeah, it looks like one of those computers. I think the art style is great, but I don’t understand the gameplay yet… but Chubigans is great at this, so I’m sure it’ll be fun 😀

  17. blueflare says:

    Hmm… weird.

I’m excited though. And the trailer’s nice.

  18. chubigans says:

Beta testing is going to happen in the VG labs within twenty minutes or so. I will be submitting to the competition about three hours afterwards. It doesn’t really need beta testing, but it’ll be fun anyways. :p

  19. Oh, yay! I think I better delay playing Brawl in that case. Can’t wait 🙂

  20. chubigans says:

Ok, uploadin now! Be checking the VG Labs. 🙂

  21. chubigans says:

Public beta is live! Login to the VG Forums, go to VG Experimental Labs, and enjoy.

    wooooooooo
    great job man!!!!!
how much time did it take???
i know that you have many reusable scripts now
i saw sources of your first games like ONR2 and thaere was not any reusable code but know it’s available in new games.
please keep the size of your games small because it’s important for competition!!!
chubs move to another technology please!!! i know it’s hard to learn new things and change a language that you use all the time!!! but other technologies like “adobe flex” or “director” are good for casual games. if you want more professional packs you can use
DXSTUDIO, unity or microsoft XNA or …

if you need help about game engines mail me, i will be happy to help a great man!!!

P.S do you know any other programming language? C,C++,C# or …
    answer please
