Cook, Serve, Delicious Update #11: The Dating Simulator

Yes, among all the things you’ll be doing in Cook, Serve, Delicious (running the restaurant, planning the daily menu, finding a way to boost buzz daily, trying out for the Iron Cook competitions, catering around the tower…) you’ll also have the opportunity to have a romance right in your very own restaurant. Ahhhh yeah.

The dating field expands once you reach the two star restaurant status, and the company “Cook4Luv” will email you detailing it’s program. It’s a popular dating service that pairs up lovers of food with professional chefs who can cook their way into their partner’s heart. After selecting your gender preference at the start, you’ll receive a contact within the next few days, detailing their favorite foods, an attached picture, and your chance to either accept or decline their relationship. After all, if their favorite food isn’t one you’re particularly good at cooking, it might be wise to find another date.

Once you choose the right partner, it’s go time as you keep an eye out for them as they’ll appear some time during the normal working day. Cook a delicious meal for them, and you could have a lasting relationship. Mess up, and the romance could be over.

Of course, you can make up for it with some smooth moves via texting/messaging when they contact you later that day to let you know how their meal tasted. From there, it’s all up to you. Who knows where this romance might take you…

Cook, Serve, Delicious! is coming this September to PC and Mac shortly thereafter. Stay tuned for more updates!

Is not responding in time worse than getting the answer wrong? lol

I like how pressing the wrong key could be the difference between “yo momma” and “life itself” – so true to smartphones and their dumb suggestions.

What about different personalities? I’m guessing some dates may be more impatient than others.

Sounds like a great little extra tidbit to add that much more to the variety and character of the game.

That screenshot is even funnier if you know what “enormity” actually means

  5. chubigans says:

@Cybermouse there are different personalities you’ll find via email communication, but I’ve found that just about everyone turns into typing blabber when it comes to texts. :p

You’ll find out the rest once you play the game! 😀
