News Updates
Website & videos done by David Galindo.
Hello, and welcome to the Halo Sights page! This site contains action videos done for Halo 2...ones that illustrate the depth of Halo 2's story and gameplay. I hope you enjoy them!

I'd like to thank mythica and Bungie.org for hosting my videos, as well as 7th war and The Nothing for the backup mirror links. Also, a big thanks to Unholy over at the High Impact Halo forums for making a really awesome banner for the website. Thanks!

I invite you to check out my other site, Vertigo Games, for some of my free games I work on, including four that are coming up this year. I've been making games for 5 years, so I hope you enjoy them! OK, cya!

April 24th, 2005

Gasp! An update!

I just uploaded a new version of "In The Front Lines"...it is formatted for the PSP handheld system. Instead of just converting the compressed video already posted on the web, I went back to the original file (790 mb big) and "remastered" it into PSP form. The result: MUCH better sound and a great picture! If you don't have a PSP, you can still view the video in Quicktime.

I do have plans for one last video, but it will have to wait until school is over...which is May 6th, so that's pretty soon anyways. More PSP videos coming in the next couple days!

January 29th, 2005

Ok, the "Music Page" is up! It lists all the songs I used in every film. If you have any more suggestions, be sure to email me...thanks!

January 27th, 2005

I should be getting up a page with all the music we used up by this weekend, as well as some sample tracks of each.

January 25th, 2005

The downloads are up for "Explosions in the Sky"! I hope you enjoy it, as I had a great time making it.

January 23rd, 2005

So I was finally finished with my test studies, had a break with filming my college movie project, decided to move my game making time to tomorrow, when it hits me. Make another damn Halo 2 video!

So I did...but don't think I just slapped one together. Its an idea Ive wanted to do for a while...just a plain action packed movie. Hopefully you will enjoy it! Its called "Explosions in the Sky" (after the Midland band who did the soundtrack for Friday Night Lights), and you can find it in the Halo 2 vids section.

Hopefully you can spot the homage to a certain Halo 2 video group. Its not too hard :) Be sure to sign the guestbook (when its up every now and then...sigh).

Well folks, I've been tremendously busy, and I wont get around to making any more videos for quite a while. This site will stay up, however, to archive all of the videos already released. I'd like to thank HBO again for their generosity, and thanks to all the visitors to our site. Thanks!

Update- December 8th, 2004

There's a new site open called The Halouvre that also makes Halo art films, along with others that have submitted various clips. Check it out!

December 6th, 2004

I've got finals this week, so hopefully after Thursday I can spend all my free time working on another video... which, by the way, will be way different then anything else I've done so far. Hopefully it will turn out great!

December 3rd, 2004

I just finished the music downloads page...it allows you to download full tracks of the songs I use in the videos. If anyone has some extra bandwidth they could spare for these songs, please let me know...I would put a link to your site to the left, if that helps :)

I am working on yet another video for next week, and will continue to add to the music downloads section. Keep checkin back for more!

Update (9:06am): Added a new kick-ass banner, made by Unholy in the High Impact Halo forums. Thanks man!!!

December 1st, 2004

The site is open! Make sure to check out the video tutorial page on how to make these types of movies...and be sure to see all of our fan-made videos on the Halo 2 videos page. Special thanks to halo.bungie.org for their help in putting these videos out on the web...without them, none of this would be possible. Thanks!!

To celebrate, I've finished a new video simply called "The Flood". Check it out in the Halo 2 Videos section, and make sure to sign the guestbook!

Later this week I plan to put up a list of all the songs used in my videos, with the links to download some, hopefully. So make sure to come back around late Thursday.

Update (5:22): I changed some links in the video section and added what kind of compressor I use in the tutorial page.
