First off, just a huge thanks to all the Kickstarter backers…you guys are awesome. Prepare to enjoy some updates soon on the Kickstarter blog with Liquisity, though most updates will happen once the Oil Blue is out the door late this month.

I’ve been playing MAG on the PS3 lately…quite a fun online shooter, with up to 256 online players. It’s kinda chaotic and the balancing needs work, but as a casual online player, I’m really diggin it. It’s quite fantastic to not have your heart pumping and trying to get on the top of the leaderboards (eh, Modern Warfare 2?) but just relax and help out the team in MAG while scoring a bunch of XP points.

Still, I’m most looking forward to God of War III and whenever the heck Gran Turismo 5 comes out. Oh, and Heavy Rain! That looks really awesome. Should be interesting to see how they pull that one off.

I realized the other day that I haven’t properly explained what the Oil Blue is all about. So instead of a factory bio this week I’m going to give more gameplay details on what the game is exactly. If I had to give a genre, it’s a simulation with a major influence from Miner Dig Deep and Ore no Ryomi. Which basically tells you nothing. Gah, I’ll explain it this week, promise. 🙂

So, what games are you looking forward to? Seems to be plenty for everyone, so I’m curious as to what you’ll be playing this month. Oh, and the blog has a new spam filter, so please contact me if you’re unable to post.

I think GT5 will be the 2010’s Duke Nukem forever.

I want to see a Pikmin for the Wii (if that’s the sort of games you’re asking about :P)

    Super Meat Boy!

Yes, that’s right. I named it above all the amazing titles this year. (Personally, 2010 is looking as good as 1998 already).

I’m probably buying Red Steel 2 this spring, though going to see what the reviews say first.

I’ve been so busy with school and work that I haven’t had a lot of time to get hyped over too many games coming out soon. Monster Hunter Tri is still on my radar, as well as catching up on some DS stuff that I missed last year. Too many games, not enough time.

A friend of mine is buying a PS3 for God of War 3. They have a crapload of school debt and probably shouldn’t be spending money on games, but I guess the appeal is too great for her. I don’t know if I could ever buy a console for a single game. (They don’t even have an HDTV, they’re using a 20″ SD one with no intention of upgrading.)

I’ve been anticipating Heavy Rain more than anything else. I’m one of the few people that actively enjoys Quick Time Events, so it looks like a hoot to me. There’s rumours that a demo will be released on Thursday the 11th.

Heavy Rain is looking fantastic at the moment. Can’t wait to try it out.

Oh, and I’m annoyed that we still haven’t heard anything about Half-Life 2: Episode 3. Episode 2 left us on such a cliff-hanger. 🙁
