Vertigo Games Site 2.0 is LIVE.

Ah yes, the website is finally done! Check out the all new vertigogaming.net! Woo!

I’d like to thank Garion for all of his help into making this site what it is now. He did an excellent job revamping the site and it’s much more professional. But there’s still a bit left to do.

If you see any broken links, let me know. Also, I need some affiliates for the new affiliates page I’m going to set up. So, send me a link using the contact box on the right or just post below. I’d prefer the contact box as I’d be able to tell you whether or not I’ll be placing the site on the page.

Now that I’ve got that out of the way, it’s full speed ahead on the games currently being made. Be sure to check out the new Store page as there’s a super awesome deal available for those wanting both ShellBlast and Spirits of Metropolis!

    looks amazing 🙂

Oh, and I realize none of the downloads work right now…fixing them as I type!

  3. blueflare says:

Wowza! That’s a sexy site if I’ve ever seen one!

Also, I found a grammar mistake. “Our latest game is greenTech and took home first place in the YoYo Games Competition. ” should read “Our latest game is greenTech, which took home first place in the YoYo Games Competition. “.

Also, I’mma apply for the affiliates thingo. 😀

    Affiliates sound good.

  5. UltimateAgent says:

First thing I noticed is the site isn’t PSP friendly, but that isn’t important for a computer game website. I’ll check it out on the computer later.

  6. Huzzah! The store page is a really nice edition. I like it! Though, I must admit. If the Seal of Awesome becomes anything like the Nintendo Seal of Quality (or as its officially called now, “Nintendo Seal”) I will hurt you 😉

In terms of the games page. I’d personally replace Prisms of Light under Popular Games with Liquisity, and maybe add Acidbomb as well (though I can understand your reason to hide Acidbomb so people go for the better, Shellblast).

Other than that, I like it! 🙂

    Nice work, Garion and Davy.

  7. Damn, we need an edit button.

Firstly, the 404 page rocks. Secondly, the Sandbox of God extras dont work. That and all the soundtrack links say “Download the Editable”. Also, did ECHC come out in 2002 like it says on the ECHC page? I gathered it was 2004?

  8. joe_042293 says:

Spelling error on the 404 page: it says “But while your here” and it should be “you’re”.

  9. UltimateAgent says:

Aww…first look on a computer and it looks pretty and organized. It does indicate a good professional feel.

And good news: If I can come up with fifteen dollars, I’ll be able to buy the SoM&Shellblast combo pack, since I lost the free one on the computer swap. But I have downloaded the Shellblast demo just to listen to the music, probably will do the same with SoM.

  10. Beneath this avatar there is an idea, Mr. Galindo, and ideas are bulletproof.

Anyway, the idea is to replace all the snapshots of the 9 games on the homepage with a sexy stylish image slider like this:
    http://www.phatfusion.net/imagemenu/

Better still, it uses the MooTools framework which you must already have seeing that you are using slimbox. 🙂

  11. chubigans says:

That is snappy indeed. Really snappy. I shall give this a go and see what happens.

Thanks for the bug/site fixes everyone! Let me know if you guys want more stuff.

  12. UltimateAgent says:

Hate to say it, but the lag seems to take a little while longer to load then it did before, but that may be my internet connection. It’s been screwy lately.

  13. On the homepage where it says “Our latest game is greenTech and took home first place in the YoYo Games Competition.”, the link linking to the greenTech page is broken. (“\” is used instead of “/”).

Personally I can’t believe how we all missed it :p

  14. joe_042293 says:

    You’re right, Lost.

It takes you to the 404 page. *cough*withthespellingmistake*cough*
