The last post of Liquisity showed off the new build, and some of you didn’t like the plants. Most of them were randomly blended using different colors, as that was easier for me to do…but you’re right, it looked a bit out of place. So instead I’ve gone in and tweaked the colors myself instead of a simple blend, which makes them look more natural and actually increases the game speed slightly. Woo! Check it out:

OLD BUILD

</br?>

NEW BUILD

</br?>

So there you go. And now I’d like to show you something called the Magnet Ball. It controls mostly like a heavy ball (a little bit better in fact) but the big difference here is it’s magnetic structure seems to attract the metal weights scattered across the levels…

</br?>

And finally, a video of the ball in action. Note the goal and most of the sounds are still from the first game, so ignore all that for now (including how the ball gets stuck for a bit):

Notice how you can rotate the cannon for that perfect shot. Not sure if I ever mentioned that or not, but yeah, rotatable cannons are in! (and fixed cannons will also be in the game).

[1,5

post-18","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-game-maker","category-liquisity-2
["GET
