Vivid Conceptions Strategy Guide by blueflare Section 1: The Game Part 1: Subroutine 1-1: The first level, the tutorial, is pretty straightforward. Just follow the directions and you'll be fine. 2: First, read the instructions, then grab the seed on the ground. Climb up the blocks, and get the other two seeds. Get telekinesis, and head back to the ant. Now, the any bounces off of the flag, so be prepared for that. Go in the hole as soon as the ant leaves, and unleash your telekinetic fury(just press S repeatedly) an grab the flag. 3: Move right until you get to the seed. Eat it, then move to the left, and jump on the floating rocks. Keep going until you reach the two other seeds, eat them. Move over to the wall, break it. Then move over to the walls with all the ants behind it. Repeatedly press S until you kill them all, then carefully head left, and grab the flag. 4: Follow the directions, and read the sign. Also, you can read gravestones with haikus on them. I wrote two that made it into the game! Anyways, carefully drop down onto the ground below and grab the seeds. Climb up the vine, and as soon as you pass the first wall, examine the next one. There's an ant on this one and the one above. Waste them and jump into the netted area. Be wary at this part, because the ants move swiftly. Remember, if you fall without jumping, you can use TK. Use this technique and destroy the ants. Continue on, and grab the flag. 5: Read the note, and head left. Don't get the closest seed, save it for later, so you'll have a closer checkpoint if you die. Climb down the vine, and get the seed, and then climb back up and get the other two. Get TK, and kill the ants. Make sure to leave a little sideways wall there so you can get the yellow flag! Now you get Cerebral Control. 2-1: This is also pretty straightforward. Just follow the directions. Remember, R is restart the level. 2: Climb up using CC and get to the treasure chest. Read the sign after getting the chest, and head into the ant's little home on the right. Let the ant fall down, and climb up and grab the flag. 3: Get all the seeds, and upgrade both TK and CC. Head to the far right of the seed "chamber", and use CC on both of the blocks on the right side of your screen. Move them in the air, the head towards the ants. Kill them all, then use your CC to get the flag. 4:Fall down the shaft, getting the seeds on the way. Get CC, and use it so that the blocks you have are very close together and near the bottom of the blocks above you. Wait until the ants move, then climb up some more. Continue this tactic until the path gets thinner. The ants won't respawn until the old groups die, so just leave a block so they can't make it through. Make your way to the upper left corner, that's where the yellow flag is. Boss: Giant Ant This boss is fairly simple, just follow these directions: Immediately move to the lower right corner(as soon as you get TK) and climb up the vine. When the giant ant gets close, use your TK on it, and it will charge away. Kill the wave of ants, then repeat. After 3 waves, the giant ant will fall. Part 2: Amboo Kolari This is all a dream...no, really. Walk to the left and you will begin platforming goodness. 1: Climb up the ladder(you can climb faster by hopping up the ladder/vine) and try to get as far to the right of the top block as you can. Jump as soon as the moving block is low, and continue across the stage. Touch the pole, it's a checkpoint. Utilize the ladders, and find your way to the flag. 2: Move to the right, onto the moving block. Jump on the stairs, and hit the checkpoint. Read the sign, it helps a lot! Use the sign's guidance and make your way through the ladders. Hit the flag. 3:As soon as there aren't any spike blocks in your way, jump right. Use the jump/climb method I mentioned earlier to get past the ladder. Move all the way to the right but DON'T use the ladder. A block is coming up, it'll kill you. Wait 'till you can safely climb down, then go. Grab the checkpoint, and jump on the next platform to your left. When the next spike blocks move, jump down. Ignore the chest, we'll cover that later. Find a strategic path down, then quickly move to the left, through the moving spike blocks. Looks like you unlocked Asexual Reproduction! Part 3: Offsprung 1-1: Ok, follow the instructions. Pretty cool, huh? 2:First, get all the seeds near the floor and select AR. Leave your mini-bantam and head up the vine. Get all three seeds and choose TK. Press Shift and make your MB choose the left air current. It will fly up, and have it destroy the big wall. Walk up to the small walls and use your TK and grab the flag. 3:Ok, grab all of the seeds and choose AR. Make your mini-bantam fly up, and explode when it reaches the breakable walls. Go left, avoid the ant, and get CC. Go back to where you killed the MB, and continue right, and use your CC to unblock the passageway. Then, just make your way up with CC, and grab the flag! 4:Get the seeds and choose CC. Keep the blocks with you, you'll need them later. Go to the bottom right, grab the seeds and the other block, and choose AR. Go back up and use one of the blocks to block the MB so that it doesn't go flying off over to the right. Then go up the shaft and set up another block in front of the spikes. Lead the MB through this, then go get the blocks you used and move up through the second shaft, and block off the new spikes. Then use your MB to blow up the downward shaft blockage. Then grab the flag! Looks like now you can use the waterbomb! 2-1:Follow the directions. 2:Push the giant seed down onto the second block, then make a MB. Waterbomb it, then climb up. You'll need to have pretty much a perfect vine jump. Make a new MB with the seeds, then explode the wall blocking the passageway. Make another new MB and use it to water the giant seed so that you can pass. Then go get the flag! 3: Go down and collect enough seeds for CC and TK. Get them both and head left, and use your CC to put the block below the seed. Push it onto the next blocks, then as far right as you can, just onto the block with the banner on it, right before you hit the spikes. Then get AR, and make your MB water the seed. Climb up, then use TK on the blocks, and grab the yellow flag! Boss: Beetle Go right for this boss. Hold down space(its an automatic turret!) and shoot at the ants, and at the falling things. Eventually, you will come upon a beetle that is spewing things out behind it. Shoot at it, and the things, and you will eventually kill it. Part 4: Enigmatic Clones 1: Get a MB, and use the right air current, and blow up the rock. Make another, and blow up the next rock. Then climb the ladder and hold down the left arrow. Grab the flag. 2: Get a MB, and make him go all the way around to the giant seed. Go down, then left, then up the air current, then up the other air current, the water the seed and blow up. Then have the bantam climb up the vine and get the checkpoint. Make a MB and have him go down the small hole and blow up the blocks. Then, as the Bantam, go down and get the flag! 3:Ok, this is a toughie. First, without touching the other monitor, get to the far left monitor and make a MB. Bring him to the right and explode the wall so that the bantam can get down to the next monitor on the right. Now get the next top monitor and send your new MB down to the far right, and explode that. Get another new MB, and send him down the hole you just made. Have him explode at the bottom, and head even farther down. Have your next MB get as far right as he can, and explode at least one of the walls to the right. Go inside the monitor "cubicle", and get the new MB. Have him explode below himself, and head down again. Get this monitor, and repeat what you just did. Touch the far right monitor, and have him blow a sizable hole in the ground near the other monitor. Then, have the next MB blow a hole in the walls nearest the flag. Congrats! You did it! Now you can use Force! Part 5: Stoic Properties 1-1:Follow Instructions. 2:First, make a MB. Send him over and make him use Force on the right of the stone, so it bounces off the angles. Then push over the giant seed and have the MB water it. Then climb up, and make sure that the last seed you eat is the one in between the rock and the angle. Make a new MB, and have him push against the rock so it bounces against the angle. Now grab the flag! 3: First, go across the vines, and up so that you get to the seeds. Eat 3, and choose AR. Have the MB use Force on the left of the rock, so it moves right, and have him blow up the funny looking part of wall with the two banners. Make another MB, and send him down through the hole you just made. Go all the way down, so that you're on a single floating block. Have the MB use force on this rock, and then switch back to the bantam and grab the flag. 4:This is a hard one. First, go to the right and get the seeds. Choose AR, and send the MB down to the far right. DO NOT use Force on the rock, go to the left, towards the giant seed. Have the regular bantam push the seed so it will sprout up, next to the other giant seed, near the top of the room. Climb up the new vine, and push the giant seed onto the red blocks, on the area where there is a hole below you, and if the block broke, you and the seed would fall through. Send your MB up the air current and make him use force on the rock. Push the giant seed so that it could make a vine leading right up to the flag. Make your MB water it, and then climb up and get the flag. 2-1: Just follow the instructions. 2: Choose AR, and have your MB be right beside the switch at all times. Use the force, and switch. Have your bantam walk down to the passageway, and switch again. Take a left, then when you're at the end of the corridor, switch again. Go to the right, and when you're over the blocked hole, switch again. Move down, then go to the right. If you're feeling careful, switch a lot at this part. But, you really only need to switch once, at the end. Grab the flag. 3: Choose AR, and send the MB down to the switch. Switch, then move to the right, just over a small regular block, near the spikes. Switch again, and climb up the vine. Push the giant seed over, so that it is above the unswitched blocks, and switch. Push it over the unswitched blocks again, and switch. Push it as far right as you can, and have the MB force the rock. It will switch twice, then have the MB switch, then water the seed. Climb up the vine, and grab the flag! 4:Go right, and climb up the vine. Choose AR, and have the MB go down to the switch. Get the other three seeds, and choose CC. Use CC to move the block in front of the far left angle. Have the MB switch, then have it go right and down, onto the air current. have it go up, it should hit the block you just moved. Have the MB go up the next air current, then have it explode, when it's near the blockage in the shaft. Then go down and grab the flag! Boss: Dragonfly Assault After you fall asleep, read then sign(remember, only three hits!) and head down the stairs. Go right, and the floor will disappear from beneath you. When you see an arrow and hear a beep, move away from the arrow, a dragonfly will come up. Basically, avoid them. After a while, there won't be any more arrows. Just hug a wall(hold down left/right) and not that many should come. I did that and only 2 dragonflies came near me! Eventually the good music will end. Then, just grab the flag! Part 6: Icedalandra 1-1: This level is fairly straightforward. Just walk with the ice blocks, and you should be fine. 2: This level is ten times harder than the first one. My strategy is tried and true:Rush through on the ground, and when you come to a pot, wait for it to shoot at you, then go. After the first "hall", the checkpoint is waiting for you. After that, you're on your own. Good luck! 3: First, make a MB. Send him down the spike pit(just hold left, he'll be fine), and make him use the air current, and watch out for the moving spikes! Send him up the next air current, and as soon as the moving spike bounces off the left wall, water the plant. See, the moving spike can break the vine while it's growing. Use the next air current, and the next one. Once you get to the breakable wall with the checkpoint, blow it up. Then have the regular bantam get the checkpoint, and jump down to the platform with the vine. Climb up, and grab the flag! Wow, look how much time passed while you were asleep! Just get the yellow flag! Part 7: Tempiale Cervello Wow. It's almost over. 1-1: First get the seeds and choose TK. Jump onto the small ledge, and TK your way through, and kill the ants. Grab the seed, then climb the vines so you reach a giant amount of TK-able blocks. Break them, and grab another one of the three seeds. Then get out, and grab the last seed. Choose AR, and have the MB use the air currents to get back where he started. Have your bantam move to the opening of the small passage with the switchable blocks, and move as far right as you can. Keep having your MB switch, until you reach the last switch place. Sit as far right as you can, and use Force. You should barely make the switch. Continue until your bantam reaches the explodable wall. Have your MB use the far right air current after dropping down, and have him explode once he is inside the small crevice. It should destroy the block. Then use your TK, and grab the flag! 2: Immediately go right, and grab the three seeds in the little canopy. Choose CC, then go left. Take the far right seed last, so the MB will be able to reach the switch. Have the MB switch, and push the concealed seed right, but wait. Have the MB switch again, so the regular bantam can push it all the way to the right, just under the un-activated block. Have your MB water it, then go back to the switch. Climb up the vine next to the switch, and walk over to the other seed. Push it to the right, but put the movable block to the right of the block you're on. Push it onto the next block, then make it fall. Get the two seeds right near you, then fall down the hole with the giant seed. Push it onto the(it needs to be solid) blue block on your right. Have your MB switch, then water it without going in the hole. Now climb up the first vine you made, and go up to the seed but DON'T eat it yet. Have your MB switch again, so that blue is transparent. Then have your MB fall in the hole, and have it make it so blue is solid.Then have it kill itself next to the breakable wall. Then make a new MB, and have it force the rock so that it bounces off all the angles and breaks a block, then go get the seed inside, and go get the other two seeds from the first vine you made. Choose TK, and have the new MB go down into the same hole the first MB did, and have it commit suicide in the same way the first did, next to the breakable wall. Then go down, and enter the hole, and use your new TK powers to get the flag! Final Boss: The Millipedes This is a very inventive boss. First, get TK, as it is the only thing you need. As soon as you choose, the music starts, and you must quickly move if you want to be prepared. Jump through the small hole, and go right, to the closest vine. Climb up so your left foot is touching the fourth vine up, yes, you need to be that close. When the millipede gets close, use your TK, it will storm off. Then some millipedes will come. The red one will be quickly moving back and forth, getting higher each time. Go on the far right vine, and when it goes from right to left, jump down, and make your way back to where you were before, the fourth leaf. Repeat 5 times, and you have beaten the game. As for the ending, you'll actually have to beat the game for that. Section 2: The Atriums The Atriums are like bonus content, and bits can be unlocked by finding treasure chests while playing the game. Here is a list of all their locations.(Note: I am counting the tutorial levels, the game won't.) Subroutine: 1-3: Begin as normal, but instead of choosing TK, choose AR, and have your MB switch near the switch. Go to the right, and get the treasure, Boss Shadow Box Atrium! Subroutine:1-4: Create your MB at the bottom of the stage and have him water the seed. Climb up to get the treasure, Investigator Cursor! Amboo Kolari: 1-3: Continue as normal, it's pretty obvious how and where to get this one. When you get it, you get the Dreamscape Atrium! Offsprung: 1-3: Get AR, and have your MB explode in the lower right corner, where the block is. You'll get the Cordania Atrium! Offsprung: 2-3: Get CC, and use the block to get the chest, which will give you the Behind the Game Atrium! Enigmatic Clones: 1-2: Make a MB, then have him fall down where the ladder is. Make him go as far left as possible, and have him jump and move left, and hit the spikes. You will see where the chest is, and inside is the Venticular Village Atrium! Stoic Properties: 1-3: Begin as normal, but when you make the MB, make it use force when it is on the right side of the rock, then go left as the bantam, and there's a chest sitting there. Inside is the Inspirations Atrium! Also, when you beat the game, you get the other cursor(scroll to change) and another atrium. It's called Paradise Flower. When you get every atrium and cursor, you get the Mini-Gunner atrium, which is actually a mini-game where you shoot projectiles coming from behind the beetle, and you try not to die. Part 3: Haikus Haikus are Japanese poems consisting of the following syllables:5-7-5 So, in other words, a haiku would go like this: This is a haiku I enjoy writing haikus Aren't they pretty cool? So, if you see a gravestone in the game, read it with W, you might even see mine( its mine if it says blueflare at the end)!
