It's ok. Kablooey has a good chance of winning the grand prize anyway. It would make an awesome Ipod touch game, for example. VC isn't much good for anything these days.

In its native design form I bet Kablooey would work fine on the AppStore or WiiWare - perhaps even the DSi as well. But if Chubs really wanted it on the PS3 (which I assume he does) then I'm sure he could make it work there as well.

I'm not sure if it would work so well on the app store or the DSI for two reasons. The first is that the screen size is too small, so you wouldn't really be able to see the city, and the hand icons would take up a large portion of that (you might just see an icon instead of the phone booth). The other is that using touch controls, the only way to view what an item is would be to touch it. However, that would logically be what selecting it should be, so you would either have to double tap to select an item, or un-select an item every time you click on something.

However, I'm sure it would work fine on any of the major consoles, but specifically the Wii, because of the Wiimote capabilities.

wow.... one of the games that was eliminated in the first round, ' Climb to the Top of the Castle', was chosen for the $10k GRAND PRIZE...


I played it, and it wasn't THAT bad... it was only a demo of the game... the graphics were unique, since it looked to be as if it were sketched/hand drawn.. but the objects and characters are so jagged! (it was made with GM).

I can tell that it won because of the classic button-smasher arcade style, which is a crowd pleaser. I mean, its a very simple game, both creation and play.... but its what is mass-accepted :P

As much as i hate saying it (aka, goin against kablooey), it was the best game to chose, that would perform best (sales wise) on a console

Ah well. Climb to the Top of the Castle is a pretty good game, although I never got further than the 3rd level .
