How do I get the volcano / volcano city in the Sandbox of God? I get the mountain with the pools of lava... aka volcano... but it always goes away in the next era, and isn't added to my checklist.

You need to get your humans extraordinarily smart. Smart enough that they fight off two of the plagues (blood and firstborn) and destroy the rock of laws. Then, when you call for a treaty in 2100, the humans will attack the rabbits. In the process, you also get "Rabbits Killed: AD" and "Plagues Defended".

I had that problem for a while too. You need to do what you did before (i.e. rain, then meteor, wait for it to erode, then thunder) and then you need to make a drought. You will then see red lines forming from the lava pools and hey presto, a volcano! You will then get an option in the second era to erupt it, and when you do that, a chunky piece of volcanic rock nests in the soil, and you get your volcano city.
