When I try playing the beta, and it gets to the dialog box where it tells me how to move the bantam, no new dialog boxes appear, and my screen is completely black except for 3 tiles of the green wavey thing which i think is the background. Can anyone help me with this issue? I'm running Windows XP Home Edition SP2. Thanks.

It might have something to do with the lighting system, which has since been dumped for a newer lighting system implemented in the demo we'll have next week. Hopefully that one will run.

Wow, that is strange.

I might consider allowing the user to turn off the lighting system; however that would really mess up some of the later puzzles I have planned. Ill definitely consider it.

aw its still not working... exact same thing happening... i can open the esc menu and all, its just the playing field i cant see...

Ok, I guess its the lighting engine then. Not to fear, as the final version will allow you to turn it off. Check out the official news on that in the News forum.
