wow... vector conflict is pulling ahead....

but i really think that if the judges had any sense about them, they would award Kablooey the $10k, mainly since its the best COMPLETED game up there, regardless of whether or not Vector is the 'fan' favorite :/

i'll find a big list to email soon enough... even if its my registered users on EB :P

*edit*
Looking at the comments, people are syaing that.. and quote : "Vector Conflict is the best- anyone who develops in flash sees that: the concept, the upgrades, the 3D- it's also the only game that would port to console successfully."
First, for a flash game, it is just WAAY too simple for it to get this much praise... the 'upgrades' should be STANDARD in this day and age... for the 3D, it has a nice appearance of 3D, but you are a stationary turret for goodness sakes! you only 'see' in 3D.... and the only game that would port to console successfully? how the heck can FLASH port more successful than a game like Driftmoon? XD

I'm getting mad at people who make comments so idiotic like that XD
I am looking for a graphics artist. If you are semi-good with drawing buildings and basic character forms, shoot me a PM!

Flash? Port to console? That would require a whole rewrite I would imagine.

Course, Kablooey probably needs a rewrite for that too. I don't think GML is compatible...with anything.

lol... its not XD but there are so many things that can convert it to something else, since it is based C (i forget which... i've been away from GML too long XD) I just know that Flash wouldn't port all that well...

LOLSTENCYL

In theory, you could even play Stencyl games on your PSP using PSPKVM. I just hope the beta comes out soon.

Vector Conflict got some G4 coverage. I think this warrents a mass kablooey email. Even if only 1/10 vote, that's still like 370.

wow....G4 coverage? WHY?! This game is a stupid Tanks/Tower defense remake, with atari graphics :@ ...is this the 'future' of gaming? *help us all*

I am also sending out an email to those who have registered at my game... thats about 150 people... along with my msn contacts from both my addresses (totaling about 250 between the 2)...we'll see how many actually vote.

*edit*

Blahahahhahah My secondary hotmail account was blocked from sending emails after the last round's mass email XD
I'm working on getting it resolved though :D I've already sent out my registered users an email, and then all of my current hotmail users an email... thinkin about goin through yahoo contacts, but there are so many random sites in there, it would be pointless :D

wow... i got messaged via 2beegames to vote for Vector Conflict, and i just saw a COMMERCIAL on G4 about the contest (supporting Vector of course) :/ Sorry to be so negative, but it looks like Vector Conflict had the full deck on this one, and knew exactly when to play their cards.

G4 showed Vector on free flash games or whatever. I saw it while passing the tv, but didn't watch the whole thing, it ended before i really noticed it.

I also got an email from 2bee, but it was advertising all the games, so i don't know what's up with that.

G4 really didn't help us any.

Chubigans, it is not too late to win. Send out a mass email, get bloggers to blog about your game, heck put in some google ads for Kablooey!

Already sent the email this morning. Yeah, I'm really interested in how they got so many votes. Very...hmmm. Ugh. Phooey. :(

BUT we can still do good by getting second. If Vector Conflict wins the grand prize, then the guy in second place wins the $5k in the polls. So, let's try for second! :)

Or maybe we'll win the 10k, who knows. :-D

I found out how he did it (from his official site):

Yeah, I pushed a plug for the poll into all the viral versions of every game I have out there and it just went nuts. There were probably over 1000 votes in half an hour so I actually just turned them off to avoid a complete bloodbath.

Thanks for all the support guys!
