Dear Diary,
Just recently, while we walked down the path, we came across a very hungry looking dog. We felt sorry for it, so we gave it the last of our wolf meat. It's probably a good thing, too, because otherwise that slob, Richard, would have eaten it, just like the rest of our food.

As we went to walk away, the dog began to follow us. According to his dog tag, his name is Rex. Since he has a dog tag, his owner is probably somewhere nearby, although nobody in town mentioned it.

Immediately, the man's eyes light up, as he exclaims "Fluffy! I've been looking all over for you!" He turns to you before he continues. "Wow, I'm sorry I was mean, but I haven't been myself without Fluffy around. Is there anything I can do to help you for your troubles?"
