The reason this beta is limited and in secret is partly because another party that's involved with the project hasn't made a formal announcement yet. The Liquisity 2/Oil Blue betas will have at least 10-15 invites in contrast, some from Kickstarter, most from the forums/blog. :) That’s correct, it’s not just for backers.
